The Random Poster

I just saw this in a blog and it’s really cool. You can only do it on WordPress, though.

Go to your WordPress blog URL. It’ll read something like http://myblog.wordpress.com/. Now, put a ?random at the end of the URL, like http://myblog.wordpress.com/?random. Hit return.

You’ll be directed to a random post within your blog. This also works with blogs that have been assigned their own domain name, like http://myblog.com. It would still have to be a WordPress-built site.

Now is that cool or what????

  1. I knew it was in the drop-down menu Blog Info, but not all WP blogs have that. So thanks for a good tip – I do like to visit random posts when I visit people’s blogs – that’s how I stumbled (fortunately not literally!) on your toilet disaster.
